W marcu odbyła XVIII edycja Ogólnopolskiej Olimpiady z języka angielskiego English ACE organizowanej przez JERSZ Łowcy Talentów. W konkursie uczestniczyło 5 460 uczniów z 234 szkół, najwięcej z województwa mazowieckiego i dolnośląskiego. Uczniowie Szkoły Podstawowej Oxpress, w której koordynatorem była pani Dagmara Klonowska, również podjęli wyzwanie.
Po ogłoszeniu wyników okazało się, że i tym razem mają się czym pochwalić: laureatką olimpiady klas 5 została Amelia Kopeć, która zajęła 2 miejsce w województwie i 5 miejsce w kraju – a przypomnijmy, że w akcji wzięło udział 5 460 uczestników!!!
Kolejne wysokie miejsca na szczeblu wojewódzkim zajęli także Borys Lech (miejsce 13) oraz Amelia Rutkowska (miejsce 33 w województwie).
W klasach 4 najlepszy był Eryk Sikora, który zajął 3 pozycję, a Natalia Kędziora i Julia Piaseczna zajęły 5 miejsca. 9-ta lokatę wywalczył Jakub Opała, a Maja Nikołajuk – miejsce 15.
W kategorii klas 6 najwyższą pozycję, 9, zajął Tomasz Szargorodzki; Noah Hugeth może się pochwalić 13 miejscem, a Michał Haftarczyk i Jan Sas wywalczyli kolejno 18 i 19 miejsce w województwie.
Pozostali uczniowie Oxpress, którzy brali udział w Olimpiadzie, uplasowali się w pierwszej pięćdziesiątce zawodników.
– To niesamowite, jak nasze dzieciaki „chłoną” materiał i jak wspaniale się z nimi pracuje. Atmosfery w szkole nie zamieniłabym na nic innego, ich energia i uśmiech napędzają chyba wszystkich nauczycieli. Angielski to naprawdę mocna strona Oxpressu! – powiedziała zachwycona Dagmara Klonowska.
Serdecznie gratulujemy wszystkim uczniom przewspaniałych wyników, zapału i zdolności, a także życzymy kolejnych spektakularnych sukcesów!
